Striving for Excellence

AAON’s Faculty is committed to teaching, training and applying practical knowledge in ways that foster quality outcomes for all students and a pathway to a fulfilling career in the Australian Healthcare Industry.

We achieve this by integrating education and workplace experience through multidisciplinary teaching skills, direct-instructional training and collaborative partnerships in different hospitals, community settings and specialisations — areas within the aged care and mental health sectors, with each contributing significantly to the successful delivery of the courses and an exciting pathway for tomorrow’s healthcare workers.

Our mission is to continue building and contributing value, capacity and support in all aspects of community service.

To achieve the best outcomes, AAON’s Faculty is led by teachers and trainers who are not only experienced healthcare practitioners but also bring together scholarly knowledge and disciplines that are of exceptional value to our students. As such, our graduates are further distinguished by AAON’s industry recognition and their personal achievements and commitment to lifelong learning, innovation and excellence.

As an administrative and teaching faction, we operate as a single department under the leadership and guidance of AAON’s managing director, Dr Lionel Chang [MB BS FRACS].
