Careers at AAON
Since 2005, The Australian Academy of Nursing has developed a multi-discipline approach to education and research in the nursing and related disciplines. AAON fosters a collegial, caring, professional, culture which is based on science, ethics, and accountability. These foundational principles are reinforced when you study, research, or teach at AAON.
We constantly seek dedicated academics to join AAON. AAON offers local and overseas candidates unique and rewarding careers with the desire to fuse education with research. Our mission is to mentor the next generation to lead nursing in Australia and around the world. As an educational institution, we take great pride as pioneers in our industry. We are the only Western institute to adopt the the Kaizen philosophy to explore new ways to train future carers, to instill ethics in our students, and to teach dedication to the nursing profession.
Australian Nursing Museum
Maintaining and passing down the traditions of the profession whilst being early adopters of new technology, skills, and techniques has allowed us to re-invent the way we train. Our facilities reflect this notion, as we have designed them for this purpose.
AAON offers suitable candidates competitive remuneration packages, a range of research opportunities, professional development, and exchange programs. As an independent self-funded research and teaching organisation, AAON is free from the limitations that are common in large publicly funded bodies. This offers our academics greater flexibility. Several employment opportunities exist within AAON. If you are interested in any of the positions below AAON email your CV and covering letter to email@example.com.
